Designed to meet a wide range of grain storage needs, the Series 40 offers multiple configurations with capacities reaching up to 1.9 million bushels. Its high-strength steel construction provides strength and durability for long-term grain storage.
A GRAIN STORAGE SOLUTION BUILT AROUND YOUR OPERATION
Grain storage needs evolve as your farming operation grows. GSI Series 40 grain bins offer a range of capacities and configurations, allowing you to design a system suited to your grain volume, site and operations.
Whether you are expanding an existing grain storage system or planning a new installation, CASA can help you select and configure the right grain bin based on your storage requirements, site and long-term objectives.
From project planning through installation, our team works with you to develop a reliable and durable grain storage solution adapted to your current and future needs.
GSI SERIES 40 GRAIN BIN COMPARISON
Compare the different GSI Series 40 grain bin models to find the configuration that best meets your storage needs. Depending on the model, capacities range from approximately 1,000 to 1.9 million bushels, with different diameters, ring counts, corrugation profiles and stiffener configurations.
FEATURES

ROOF PANELS
GSI Series 40 grain bin roof panels are designed to provide high structural strength. Their ribbed design and reinforcing profiles increase roof rigidity and provide greater resistance under demanding operating conditions.
HIGHER CAPACITY AND SUPERIOR PROTECTION
GSI Series 40 grain bins are manufactured with high-strength steel to withstand the significant loads associated with large-capacity installations. Sidewall sheets provide a minimum tensile strength of 450 MPa (70,000 psi) and are protected with a G90 galvanized steel coating for increased durability.

STIFFENERS
Stiffeners reinforce the grain bin structure and help efficiently distribute vertical loads. Depending on the GSI Series 40 configuration, materials up to 2-gauge thickness are used to provide the strength required for tall installations. Base reinforcements also feature a protective coating against corrosion.
WIND RING
Wind rings reinforce the grain bin structure to improve resistance to wind loads. Their design, combined with the supports and stiffeners of the GSI Series 40 grain bin, helps maintain structural stability in high-wind conditions.

JS500 BOLTS
GSI Series 40 grain bins use JS500 bolts with sealing washers to help protect stored grain against water infiltration. Their coating provides increased corrosion protection and contributes to extending the service life of the grain bin.
BASE ANGLE
The structural base angle of the GSI Series 40 grain bin is designed to limit water infiltration at the connection between the bin and its foundation. This design helps protect stored grain and contributes to the durability of the installation.
